Composed of three cubes of wood, this house rests next to Lyon’s Corcovado: the Madonna of Miribel, a listed monument. Each cube of 50m² is covered with heated Douglas fir contrasting with the lacquered aluminum joineries and metal cladding for retaining walls in anthracite gray. The cubes are perfectly adapted to the dramatic topography of the terrain.
Large wooden decks comeextend the day spaces of this eagle’s nest.
Design with architect P.M. Contardo.
